Claire Baker – PGDip Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling, MBACP (Accred)

Hello and welcome to Clarity Counselling, Brighton & Hove

Clarity Counselling is a professional and caring private practice with bases in both Brighton and Hove, UK. Sessions are also available online or by telephone.

At Clarity Counselling you will be warmly welcomed by me, Claire Baker, an experienced BACP-accredited and ICO-registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I offer daytime and evening sessions and can work with you short or long-term. My aim is to offer a dedicated time and space for you to be you, to feel heard and supported, whatever you are going through or wish to explore.

As psychotherapeutic counselling is a collaborative process, it is important to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. For this reason I offer a 50 minute online introductory session, at a reduced rate, which gives us an opportunity to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling and see how we feel about working together, with no obligation for you to commit to further sessions if you do not wish.

Taking time for honest personal reflection with an experienced therapist can be helpful for identifying how life experiences have shaped your emotional world, behaviour and relationships. This, in turn, can enhance self-awareness, mental clarity and the potential to make choices or changes that are determined by and feel right for you. Psychotherapeutic counselling is a space to reflect on any aspects of yourself and your life. Whatever brings you to counselling, it is a personal process, there are no ‘rights’ or ‘wrongs’.
